Originally from the Allan family home (before it was donated to the MUHC to house the Allan Memorial Institute), this sideboard dating from the 1880s has a marble top and heavily carved wood base. The back of the base is mirrored. The second part of this sideboard is a carved topper that originally held a mirror. Measurements (height x width x depth):                                                               base: 32 x 115 x 25 inches       top: 94 x 76 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches
